Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of commercial underwriting experience
• University degree or college diploma or equivalent work experience
• Working towards or completion of CIP/CAIB/CRM courses is an asset

Responsibilities

• Own referral underwriting of multiple lines of business
• Work closely with the broking team
• Partner with the Insurance Analytics team
• Negotiate with partner insurers
• Maintain data integrity
• Adhere to underwriting standards
• Assist with wording comparisons
• Keep up to date with industry trends
