Staff Engineer, CPU/RTL

Overview

Role involves building high-performance CPUs from scratch and owning RTL design.

Ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in CPU RTL and microarchitecture with a strong design background.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience
• Strong CPU RTL background
• Expertise in Out-of-Order CPU design
• Experience with Verilog or VHDL
• Familiarity with RISC-V, ARM, or x86 ISA

Responsibilities

• Own RTL design and microarchitecture
• Collaborate with performance, DV, and physical design teams
• Deliver performant, power- and timing-optimized RTL
• Experiment and analyze tradeoffs
• Contribute to overall CPU architecture
