Senior Fund Accountant

Overview

Role involves supporting SPV and fund clients throughout investment lifecycle.

Ideal candidate has 3+ years of fund accounting experience and strong understanding of venture capital structures.

Candidates must be based in New York City, Seattle, San Francisco (hybrid) or Salt Lake City (remote)

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience
• Strong understanding of venture capital/private equity
• Proficiency in US GAAP
• High proficiency with Excel

Responsibilities

• Manage post-closing events
• Serve as escalation contact
• Lead onboarding calls
• Assist with management fee payments
• Develop standard operating procedures
• Prepare distribution calculations
• Set up payments to companies and investors
