Overview

Role responsible for managing and improving cloud-based database infrastructure for a SaaS application.

Ideal candidate should have 7+ years of experience with relational databases and 2+ years in a DBRE or SRE role.

Requirements

• 7+ years with relational databases
• 2+ years in DBRE or SRE role
• Experience in cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Coding/Automation experience
• Experience with IaC tools (Ansible, Terraform)
• Experience with source control (GIT)
• SQL Server experience preferred
• Experience with VLDBs (1+ TB)

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain cloud-based database infrastructure
• Improve processes via automation
• Liaise with engineering and SRE teams
• Work on observability of database metrics
• Assist DBA team in performance troubleshooting
