Senior Strategic Financial Modeler

Overview

Role responsible for owning financial modeling for strategic plans, budgets, and forecasts.

Ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience in insurance finance with strong modeling and forecasting skills.

Remote team members must live and work in the United States (territories excluded)

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required
• 8+ years of experience in insurance Finance or Accounting required
• 5+ years in Financial Planning and Analysis required
• 2+ years building financial models for insurance preferred
• Strong insurance accounting knowledge recommended
• Exceptional modeling skills required
• Highly analytical skills needed
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required

Responsibilities

• Build three-statement financial projection models
• Perform variance analysis on key results
• Create presentation materials for leadership
• Maintain rolling forecasts
• Coordinate with FP&A business partners
• Build out forecast models for reinsurance
• Build loss and LAE forecasts
• Provide financial modeling support for fundraising
