Controller responsible for leading and shaping the accounting team and overseeing financial reporting.

Ideal candidate has 12+ years of experience with strong GAAP accounting and P&C insurance knowledge.

Remote team members must live and work in the United States (territories excluded)

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred
• 12+ years of relevant experience
• 8+ years of P&C insurance experience
• 5+ years of people management experience
• Strong GAAP accounting experience

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Manage quarterly reviews and annual audits
• Prepare U.S. GAAP-compliant financial statements
• Oversee SOX compliance
• Drive process improvement
• Manage internal and cross-functional projects
