Principal Electrical Engineer

Overview

Hands-on role focusing on electrical design and product development.

Ideal candidate should have extensive experience in electrical hardware development and consumer product design.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• 10+ years of experience in electrical hardware development
• Hands-on experience designing boards with Application Processors
• Experience designing high-speed boards
• Experience with Electrical Schematic Capture and Layout software
• Experience working with offshore OEM, ODM and JDM
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional team on system architecture
• Analyze system trade-offs and propose solutions
• Own high-speed board-level electrical designs
• Develop system validation and testing
• Define board-level hardware bring-up plan
• Define manufacturing test plan
• Collaborate with Mechanical and Optical team
• Work with Embedded Firmware and Application Software team
