Ideal candidate has 4+ years of backend development experience and strong knowledge of distributed systems.

Candidates must be located in a state/province where Nylas is registered

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent
• 4+ years backend development experience
• Experience with Go and Python
• Experience with microservices and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with modern databases
• Some experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Some experience with AWS or GCP
• Experience using AI tools for development

Responsibilities

• Own and enhance APIs
• Build AI meeting bot backend
• Collaborate on new features
• Develop test suites
• Provide technical leadership
• Mentor team members
• Analyze and improve system architecture
• Lead high-visibility projects
