Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Overview

Role involves supporting and scaling Kafka and Elasticsearch infrastructure in a dynamic environment.

Ideal candidate has 6+ years of experience with strong expertise in Kafka, Elasticsearch, and cloud platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 6+ years experience in software development or infrastructure engineering
• Deep experience with Kafka and/or Elasticsearch
• Strong Linux systems expertise
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP/AWS)
• Proficient in scripting languages (Python, Bash)
• Expert-level understanding of Git and GitHub workflows
• Proficient with container tools (Docker) and orchestrators (Kubernetes)

Responsibilities

• Triage and resolve production issues
• Design automated monitoring and logging systems
• Write tools for self-healing and incident prevention
• Automate system administration tasks
• Manage GitHub for infrastructure-as-code
• Collaborate with development and QA teams
• Participate in on-call rotation
• Mentor junior engineers
