Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience
• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems
• Solid understanding of backend API development
• Experience with Go, Python, or Rust
• Experience with databases like Postgres or MySQL

Responsibilities

• Design and write backend code for First Street's API
• Develop and maintain internal software tooling
• Write technical documents
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs
• Identify bottlenecks and improve software efficiency
• Debug and setup cloud-based infrastructure
• Review and provide feedback on contributions
• Collaborate with Product and Data Operations Teams
