Project Engineer

Overview

Role focused on engineering design and technical management for solar and energy storage projects.

Ideal candidate should have 3-6 years of experience in solar PV or power systems engineering with strong AutoCAD skills.

Strong preference for residency within VT, NY, ME, PA, RI, Washington DC, SC, GA, AL, IL, MI, and CO. New locations considered on case-by-case basis

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 3-6 years of relevant technical/design experience in solar PV or power systems engineering
• 3-6 years of experience using AutoCAD

Responsibilities

• Support engineering design and development for solar and energy storage projects
• Develop and review electrical design documents
• Specify and size electrical equipment
• Conduct power system studies
• Ensure compliance with standards
• Review utility interconnection documents
• Perform QA/QC of installed systems
• Interface with EPCs and vendors
