Senior Accountant

Overview

Role involves supporting the finance team with month-end close and financial reporting.

Ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in financial statements preparation and is fluent in English and German.

Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration or Finance-related education
• Minimum 5 years experience in financial statements preparation
• Experience in post-merger integration and ERP projects is a plus
• Business fluent in English and German
• Experience in internal controls and process optimization

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities
• Support income tax returns and VAT filings
• Conduct actual vs. budget analysis
• Generate and post accounts receivable invoices
• Collaborate with international teams
• Support intercompany accounting
• Be key contact for tax auditors
• Support post-merger integration
