• 5+ years experience in medical coding
• Professional Coding certification required
• Coding experience in a Health Care system required
• Extensive knowledge of medical claim edits required
• Hands-on knowledge of reimbursement methodologies required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office required
• Knowledge of Redshift and SQL desired

Responsibilities

• Analyze claim data for anomalies
• Audit medical record documentation
• Assist in designing continuous improvement programs
• Develop and validate payment integrity models
• Participate in solution recommendation sessions
• Document and communicate validation results
